Grief Care for Changing Bodies
There are changes we go through that don’t always have words.
Slow shifts. Sudden shifts. Illness, disability, aging, trauma, transition. A body not moving, not feeling, not being as it once was. The disorientation of living in a body that is changing outside your control or understanding.
This space is here for all of it.
You don’t have to leave anything out. Grief, pain, fatigue, loss, frustration, tenderness, the in-between places of change. All of it is welcome here. All of it met with care.
This is not a space for pushing through or forcing acceptance before you are ready.
It is a space for grieving.
For slowing down enough to feel what is here. For noticing what has been lost, what is shifting, what is still becoming. For letting the body tell the truth of its experience without needing to justify it or move past it.
For staying with what is changing, as it changes.
